Video: ‘It’s Sad to See Him Leave Barça’ – RB Leipzig Manager States Lionel Messi Was the Identity of Barcelona

Paris Saint-Germain will face RB Leipzig on matchday three of the UEFA Champions League. The German side will be visiting the Parc des Princes Tuesday night, needing all three points to keep up with the other three clubs in the group.

Leipzig manager Jesse Marsch stated at his press conference with the media that leaving the French capital with a win is problematic considering that PSG will have Lionel Messi in their squad. Despite being an opponent, Marsch had flattering remarks for the 34-year-old.

“Messi is always in the conversation about who is the best in the world for at least 15 years. He has such a brilliant career, and it’s sad to see him leave Barça because he was the identity of the team for the past few years,” Marsch said.
