Report: ESPN Reveals the Annual Salary Erling Haaland Commands for a Transfer

Over the next few months, Paris Saint-Germain’s primary goal is to extend the contract of Kylian Mbappé. However, the capital club isn’t putting all their eggs into the 22-year-old’s basket and has reportedly been linked to Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland as a Plan B.

Haaland is long for the German club and could be on the move this coming summer, and ESPN (via Culture PSG) reports the salary it will take to land the Norway international.

The report details that Haaland would like to obtain a salary of at least €35-million per year in the event of departure from the Bundesliga side.

ESPN adds that Haaland could reach this annual salary with figures that could be inflated by the bonuses claimed by the player’s representatives, including his agent Mino Raiola.

The 21-year-old has a release clause set between € 75-million and €100-million—an affordable price for the big European club.

PSG remains in the background on this file as Manchester City, Chelsea, and Real Madrid are hoping to land the prolific striker. For the Ligue 1 side, the preference remains to extend the France international.
