PSG Mercato: Paris SG Transfer Target Franck Kessié Could Depart AC Milan in January

Paris Saint-Germain wants to improve its midfielder, and one of the players that sees their name in connection with the capital club is AC Milan’s Franck Kessié. The 24-year-old’s contract expires in June, and he’s yet to extend his contract with the Italian side.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia), AC Milan will be ready to listen to offers for Kessié if the two parties cannot reach a deal. Milan is reportedly offering the midfielder a new contract that will see him earn €6.5-million per year.

However, Kessié wants a deal that will see him earn an annual salary of €8-million. As a result, if they cannot close that €1.5-million gap, the Serie A club will try to sell him as they don’t want to lose him on a free transfer as they didn’t get any transfer sums for Gigio Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu.

There are no details as to what Milan would want for a player six months away from being a free agent. Nonetheless, PSG isn’t alone in having an eye on this situation as Liverpool is another team interested in Kessié.
