Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Angel Di Maria has already made plenty of history over his run with the French powerhouse.
From the multitude of key goals scored in must-win matches to his current ranking as the club’s all-time leader in assists, Di Maria sure has made a case to be among the greatest players who have ever donned a PSG shirt.
The Argentine is much appreciative of his current run with the Ligue 1 giants, which he spoke further about to Telefoot.
“Yes, it was the best decision of my life to come here,” Di Maria said. “The city, the people.
“And suddenly I decided to stay two more seasons while I was in end of contract because my family is very happy here and it is for all these reasons that we are very happy.”
Di Maria did sign a one-year contract extension deal with PSG over the recent summer transfer window. And as it stands, the Argentine playmaker will be out of a contract by next summer’s transfer window.
It remains to be seen on whether Di Maria and PSG will come to terms on another extension deal. But for now, the veteran playmaker sure is focused on helping PSG achieve success in all competitions this season.
