On Wednesday night, Paris Saint-Germain had a less than stellar performance against Club Brugge as the two sides played to a 1-1 draw. However, throughout the 90 minutes, it felt as though the capital club played on their heels, with the Belgium side on the verge of finding the second goal.
Nonetheless, one of the minor storylines in the match was the confrontations between Neymar Jr. and Brugge defender Stanley Nsoki. The former PSG youth player spoke to beIN Sports France to discuss what occurred.
“In football, there is always emotion. In the heat of the moment, a mistake that I did not like too much. But it stays on the green rectangle, and in the end, it was forgotten,” Nsoki said. “Mark my territory? No, maybe he was blaming me for having fallen to the ground, but I don’t think I fell on my own, and I was letting him know. There was nothing special.”
