One of the marquee sponsors for Paris Saint-Germain Visit Rwanda, and on World Gorilla Day, Neymar, Kylian Mbappé, Sergio Ramos, and Marquinhos participated from Paris where the players named three Rwandan gorillas during a ceremony.

“The names Ingeri, Nshongore, and Mudasumbwa to three gorillas born during the season. These names, chosen after a first selection by the Rwandan conservatives, are linked to the life and the family of the baby gorillas,” the PSG players stated.

The Kwita Izina, organized every year since 2005 by Visit Rwanda, has gone from ancestral tradition to a global event. French ecologist Yann Arthus-Bertrand also participated in this ceremony. The gorilla is highlighted by the government of Rwanda, which holds 380 of these apes.
