Neymar Jr. was overshadowed by the hat-trick performance by his fellow Paris Saint-Germain teammate, Lionel Messi. Nonetheless, the 29-year-old and Brazil continued to further dominate in their FIFA World Cup Qualifying fixtures in a 2-0 win over Peru.
The Brazil international had a hand in both goals as he generated the turnover to provide the assists on the first goal. Then on the second, a blocked shot would result in the ball finding Neymar and all he’d need to do is tap it in for the second goal.
