After a notable wait, Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma may soon make his debut with Paris Saint-Germain.
Keylor Navas has been the team’s starting goalkeeper so far in league play this season. However, he is set to feature for Costa Rica in its 2022 World Cup qualifying fixture against Jamaica. The veteran goalkeeper is due back with PSG on Friday, one day before its matchup against Clermont.
Barring any late surprises, Donnarumma will be between the posts for the upcoming key clash with Clermont, where the Ligue 1 giants will look to make it five wins in five matches to open up the season.
Although Donnarumma has not yet featured with PSG, he has received playing time minutes with the Italian national team as of late.
At this point in the season, Donnarumma is well ready for in-game action in league play.
