Now it seems the Ligue 1 side will be cornering the free transfer market next summer and perhaps taking another player from AC Milan that could be running out his contract. TeleLombardia (via PianetaMilan) reports that PSG has firmly set its sights on signing AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessié.
The 24-year-old can begin negotiating with other clubs during the January window for a pre-contract if he doesn’t extend his contract with the Serie A side since he’ll become a free agent next summer.
According to the report, Les Parisiens will offer a five-year contract with a salary of €8-million net per season plus €2-million in bonuses. PSG will be hunting for a marquee midfielder next summer as Paul Pogba and Kessié could be their prime targets, with both having their contracts expiring in 2022.
