Lionel Messi is beginning a new venture in his career with Paris Saint-Germain. The former FC Barcelona star recently made his debut last weekend, and it’s starting to feel like a reality that he’ll be with Les Parisiens.
However, this decision caused the 34-year-old to uproot his from Barcelona, Spain, where they’ve spent most of their lives to Paris, France.
Messi will spend at least two years in the French capital, where his kids will also be part of PSG. L’Equipe (via Marca) reports that the Argentine forward plans to enroll his two kids, Thiago and Mateo, into the Ligue 1 side’s youth system.
Thiago will either join the Under-10 or Under-9 team. Meanwhile, Mateo is heading to the Under-7 squad in the French giants’ youth academy. There’s no doubt when Messi shows up for his kids, it will draw a crowd, whether it’s from the other players on the squad or relatives to the other players.
