Over the last few days, Kylian Mbappé has seen his name in various rumors linking him to Real Madrid. The Spanish club has hit overdrive in their pursuit to land the 22-year-old; Los Blancos have already submitted two offers for the France international.
Following Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-0 victory over Stade de Reims, midfielder Marco Verratti was asked about the ongoing rumors regarding his teammate. The 28-year-old made it known that he wants Mbappé to remain with PSG.
“These are things between Kylian and the club. We like to play with the strongest, and Kylian has shown tonight that he is a great striker. We win 2-0, and he scores a double. It’s not today that we discover Kylian,” Verratti said to Amazon Prime (via Canal Supporters)
“He’s been scoring a lot of goals for a few years now. Sometimes we run into him in certain matches, but because he’s a phenomenon and everyone expects a lot from him. We know what he can give, and we are very happy with him.”
