Paris Saint-Germain recently shared the anniversary of the arrival of Neymar Jr. to the French capital, and ESPN FC recently had a panel discussion whether the 29-year-old’s time with the Ligue 1 side has been a success.
Julien Laurens discussed that Neymar arriving at PSG has successfully pointed at the performance that the Brazil international has done with Les Parisiens.
The journalist also added that the French club had been close over the last two seasons in winning the UEFA Champions League, losing to Bayern Munich last year in the final, and Manchester City a few months ago in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, pundit Craig Burley disagrees and states that PSG’s inability to win the Champions League in the last four years should deem Neymar’s stint in Paris a failure since that’s the reason they purchased him four years ago.
