Lionel Messi has shocked the footballing world after electing to sign with Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year free transfer deal. Messi joins PSG after departing from Barcelona, where financial complications prevented him from re-signing with his boyhood club.
Former Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldinho well knows what Messi is feeling right now, as he featured with PSG two decades ago.
On Twitter, the Brazilian provided his reaction to Messi’s blockbuster move to PSG, where he also gave a shoutout to longtime rival Sergio Ramos.
“It is a great joy to have played in these two clubs and now to see my friend wearing this shirt,” Ronaldinho said. “May there be many more moments of joy, Leo. I am also very happy for Sergio Ramos on the team and a super cast. I smell Champions.”

With Messi now at PSG, the French powerhouse is well now the heavy favorites to win the UEFA Champions League this season.
For now, all eyes will be on just when Messi will make his first appearance in Ligue 1. The Argentine will be looking to help PSG capture the league title after the side finished in second place behind Lille OSC in the final league standings last season.
Football today is full of surprises, if wishes were horses, beggars will ride on them. Good luck to Leo.
Alongside, chealse all the way .wishing the team best of luck in their Super Cup clash with Villarreal
