Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Rafinha was among the players heavily linked with a departure over the ongoing summer transfer window. But for now, the Brazilian will stay put at the club.
As noted by Telefoot‘s Julien Maynard, Rafinha will remain at PSG past transfer deadline day barring any last-minute offer from any interested club. The plan for now is to have the veteran midfielder stay at PSG until at least the winter transfer window.
As mentioned, Rafinha was in the rumor mill over a departure from the club over the past months; he had garnered transfer interest from Serie A side Sassuolo.
Still, there were no reports of PSG having serious transfer talks with any club for the versatile talent.
Rafinha has so far featured in two Ligue 1 matches with PSG so far this season, which includes the key start against Brest. He totaled for 23 appearances in league play last season, where he notched four assists and a 1.0 key passes per game average.
