At one point earlier this month, it seemed as if Paris Saint-Germain was all done in making moves over the ongoing summer transfer window. But this may be far from the case now.
As one recent report notes, Real Madrid has now opened up discussions with PSG for the possible permanent transfer signing of Kylian Mbappe. After being turned away with its first offer, the La Liga side has now submitted a €170 million offer plus €10 million in bonuses for the forward.
As PSG may soon be parting ways with Mbappe, the club is now reportedly looking for a possible replacement for the forward.
L’Equipe notes that PSG is considering Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland as a transfer target for the final week of the ongoing summer transfer window. The Dortmund star has been linked with multiple clubs over the past months, including Real Madrid.
PSG will have a multitude of options on what to do with an estimated €180 million should the club sell Mbappe. Nonetheless, new PSG forward Lionel Messi and Neymar will be called upon to lead the team’s attack over this season.
