As the ongoing summer transfer window is nearing a close, plenty of Paris Saint-Germain players sure remain uncertain on whether they will feature with the team this season. Among them is veteran midfielder Ander Herrera, who took part in PSG’s preseason schedule.
As noted by Le Parisien (via Le10Sport), PSG is still aiming to sell Herrera over the ongoing summer transfer window. However, club officials are currently having a difficult time finding a suitor for him.
The Spanish midfielder has garnered some transfer interest as of late, including from La Liga side Athletic Bilbao. One recent report noted that Bilbao is well interested in signing Herrera, although it is not known on whether the side would go all out to bring him back to the club.
Herrera appeared in 31 Ligue 1 fixtures last season as he became a reliable rotational midfielder for the team.
For the moment, Herrera is currently slated to be a part of the team’s midfield unit this upcoming season.
