Even as Lionel Messi is yet to feature in a single match with Paris Saint-Germain, he may already have in mind where he would like to finish his career.
As noted by the English-based outlet Daily Mirror, Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham has been in contact with Messi over a possible transfer move after his PSG run.
The report adds that the Argentine forward was recently in Miami buying six luxury penthouse apartments.
Messi signed a two-year contract deal with PSG earlier this month, although there is an option for another year. It is not currently known whether the third-year option in the free transfer agreement is a club, player or mutual one.
Beckham has noted before that he aspires to not only bring Messi to Inter Miami but also current Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo as well. The two stars would evidently take up designated players spots with Inter Miami should they end up signing with the side.
For now, Messi is looking forward to his PSG debut, which could come as soon as the team’s upcoming key Ligue 1 fixture against Reims.
