As the ongoing summer transfer window is nearing a close, Lille OSC is looking to make one notable move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Arnaud Kalimuendo. As noted by RMC Sport, Lille is expected to make a late push to sign the forward on a loan deal.
The report adds that RC Lens and PSG have reached an agreement on a loan deal for Kalimuendo. The French forward spent the last season on a loan stint with Lens, where he scored key goals in Ligue 1 play.
Still, Lille is looking to hijack this agreement and haul in the forward via a loan deal.
PSG has garnered much interest for its promising forward. For one, Serie A side Atalanta sent a proposal to PSG club officials for the forward, but they ultimately turned down the offer.
Kalimuendo featured for PSG in its preseason schedule and has played in 11 minutes in Ligue 1 so far this season.
