Paris Saint-Germain has been trying to offload Layvin Kurzawa. The 28-year-old is the third-string left-back behind Abdou Diallo and Juan Bernat. The capital club attempted to orchestrate a deal with Galatasaray SK, but Kurzawa nixed the transfer due to the player not wanting to play in Turkey.
A recent report showed that Olympique Lyonnais expressed interest in Kurzawa, but his wages were too high for a deal to work out. However, RMC Sport journalist Loïc Tanzi (via Canal Supporters) reports that West Ham United is joining the race to land the defender.
There are no further details on the Premier League club’s interest and whether they’ll make an official proposal for Kurzawa. The defender denied the move to Galatasaray because the France international wanted to wait for an offer from England, and it seems it could be on its way.
Earlier this summer, West Ham reached a loan agreement with PSG for goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.
If the wage demands were to steep for Galatassaray then West Ham have no chance to signing him!
