Real Madrid is now making a grand approach to sign Kylian Mbappe on a blockbuster permanent transfer deal. The La Liga side already sent out a €160 million offer to Paris Saint-Germain for the forward, although the French powerhouse subsequently declined the deal.
Now, as noted by RMC Sport, Real Madrid also reached out to PSG about the possibility of speaking directly to Mbappe.
Not only does Real Madrid need to agree on a transfer fee with PSG to pull off this signing, but the club must also come to personal terms with the forward on a contract deal.
Even at this late stage in the ongoing summer transfer window, Real Madrid well wants to sign Mbappe now rather than wait a year when he will become a free agent.
There is less than a week until the summer transfer window closes, so Real Madrid would need to accelerate this transfer process if it aspires to sign the forward.
