PSG Mercato: Real Madrid Prepares to Make Second Offer for Kylian Mbappé

Real Madrid reportedly had their first offer for Kylian Mbappé turned down by Paris Saint-Germain. However, the Spanish club isn’t giving up hope as they’re putting together a second proposal before the summer transfer window closes next week.

According to L’Equipe (via Paris Fans), the amounts for Mbappé vary, but clearly, the capital club understands that the Spanish club has the means to make an offer that will cause them to ponder whether they want to accept it.

Internally at PSG even believe that Real Madrid can exceed Neymar’s €222-million mark from the summer of 2017. Now some of these sums do need to be taken with a grain of salt, considering Mbappé will be a free agent next season.

However, with La Liga not having any marketable players, it does make some sense why Real Madrid would want to land the player this summer rather than rolling the dice and waiting until 2022.

There are only a few days left until the summer transfer deadline, so there will be plenty of smoke surrounding this rumor.
