PSG Mercato: Real Betis Open to a Loan Move for Kalimuendo

French forward Arnaud Kalimuendo is still currently unsure on whether he will feature with Paris Saint-Germain this upcoming season. One notable club is showing an interest in acquiring the forward before the ongoing summer transfer window closes.

As noted by the Spanish-based outlet Todofichajes, La Liga side Real Betis is open to hauling in Kalimuendo for the upcoming new season.

Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini is aiming to see the club bring in a forward. And Betis club officials have responded by zoning in on Kalimuendo as its newest transfer target.

Betis has already reached out to PSG about the possibility of signing Kalimuendo and would only consider a one-season loan deal for the forward.

Kalimuendo featured in PSG’s preseason friendly schedule and its recent 2021 Trophee des Champions Final against Lille OSC. He is currently projected to replace Moise Kean as the team’s backup center forward for this season, but this would certainly all change if he departs to Betis for a loan stint.

This would be his second consecutive loan move as he featured with Ligue 1 side RC Lens on a loan stint last season.
