Real Madrid is now making a grand late push to sign Kylian Mbappe on a blockbuster transfer deal.
As noted by Telefoot‘s Julien Maynard, Real Madrid placed a €160 million transfer offer on the table to Paris Saint-Germain for Mbappe. However, PSG subsequently turned down the offer without much hesitation.
It is not known yet on whether Real Madrid will push to make another such offer to PSG for the French forward.
PSG remains at a standstill with Mbappe over a possible contract extension agreement, as he is yet to sign a new deal with the club. He is set to become a free agent next year, where he will have the chance to leave the club as a free transfer.
PSG has already had one hectic transfer window as it signed the likes of Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos to free transfer deals. These signings had many tab the club as the early favorites to win the UEFA Champions League this season. However, this could all change if Mbappe goes on to leave the club before the ongoing summer transfer window closes.
