The summer transfer deadline is fast approaching, and Paris Saint-Germain wants to sneak in at least one more addition. One name that has been linked to the capital club all summer is Eduardo Camavinga.
According to Franceinfo, discussions are in their advanced stages between Stade Rennais and PSG with the approval of the midfielder. The 18-year-old has one more year left on his contract, and it doesn’t appear as though Camavinga wants to extend his contract.
It would be financially irresponsible for the French club to allow Camavinga to leave on a free transfer, which is why L’Equipe reports that Stade Rennais is willing to accept €30-million for the midfielder.
All summer, the Ligue 1 side had hoped to add one of Paul Pogba or Camavinga. The arrival of Lionel Messi took them out of the running for Pogba. Now it seems as though they’re turning their full attention to the teenager, and it appears as though they’re close to landing him before the summer window closes.
