There is still could be plenty of blockbuster moves upcoming over the remainder of the ongoing summer transfer window.
For one, Real Madrid has been making a move to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe. The La Liga side already submitted a pair of transfer offers to PSG for the talent, but a deal between the two powerhouse clubs has yet to be reached.
In the case that Mbappe does go on to join Real Madrid, PSG would want to sign an immediate replacement for him. The club has already shortlisted one notable player to possibly replace Mbappe should he leave the club: Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.
As noted by the Spanish-based outlet Todofichajes, PSG would be willing to shell out a staggering €130 million transfer fee for the Dortmund star but has no aim to engage in a negotiation standoff with Dortmund.
If the Bundesliga side prefers not to sell Haaland for this notable fee, then PSG would end its pursuit of the forward.
The report adds that PSG well recognizes that Haaland’s release clause could possibly be set to €90 million next year.
There is still plenty of time for the two clubs to reach an agreement on this transfer matter.
