New Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi has not yet featured in a fixture with the team, but this will change soon.
As noted by Le Parisien, Messi is not expected to take part in the team’s upcoming matchup against Brest. The Argentine forward is not slated to even travel with the team for this away clash.
The likes of Neymar and Leandro Paredes are also tabbed to miss out on this fixture against Brest.
However, they all are on par to make their season debuts with PSG in next week’s home matchup against Stade de Reims.
At the least for PSG, the side is currently expected to have Angel Di Maria, Marquinhos, Marco Verratti and Gianluigi Donnarumma available for PSG’s matchup with Brest.
PSG aims to make it three wins in three matches to start the new league season. As shown last season, a promising start to a league campaign could go a long way in a team’s title aspirations.
