Paul Pogba continues to be linked to Paris Saint-Germain as the capital club wants to take advantage of the 28-year-old entering the final year of his contract. The possibility of seeing Pogba in Paris is one that even some in the French media want to see.
During the RMC Football Show, pundit Frédéric Piquionne spoke about the Pogba-PSG rumor, where he stated that if there’s a way to land the France international, then the Ligue 1 side need to make the transfer. Canal Supporters relayed the comments made by Piquionne.
“Yes Paris must go get Paul Pogba, and if PSG has the opportunity to go and get him and it fits into the Parisian payroll, let’s go,” Piquionne said.
“Afterwards, of course, there will be disappointments, there will be players – who have a very good salary at PSG – who will have to leave and sit on their salary in other clubs. Everything can be negotiated, between loans with the option to buy, loans by paying little salaries. There are a lot of things in football today.”
🗣️💬 "Même s'il y aura des déçus, Paris a besoin de Paul Pogba, le club doit faire le nécessaire en vue de la Ligue des Champions et pour la Ligue 1"
