Ever since last year’s summer transfer window, Lionel Messi has been in the rumor mill over a possible move to Paris Saint-Germain.
While all signs point to Messi ending his current status as a free agent and re-signing with Barcelona, such a move is yet to come to fruition.
New Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos had plenty of battles with Messi in El Clasico fixtures over the years and despite that, he would not be against seeing the Argentine forward make a shock move to the Ligue 1 giants
Ramos spoke further during a recent video conference (via El Mundo) about the possibility of seeing Messi join him at PSG.
“Leo is one of the best players in the world,” Ramos said. “But it’s not up to me. I could tell you a thousand things, but they wouldn’t be decisive. Everyone makes the decisions they have to make. But I like to be surrounded by the best and I will always have a place for him in my team.”
It is still yet to be determined on when Messi will make an official announcement on his footballing future at the club level.
