The main storyline of the ongoing summer transfer window continues to be whether Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe will stay put with the club or move on to Real Madrid.
Plenty of current Real Madrid players have spoken about Mbappe, and now one can add new Los Blancos defender David Alaba to this list.
During his introductory press conference, Alaba was asked about the possibility of Mbappe joining Real Madrid. The Austrian defender elected not to go in-depth over whether Mbappe could soon leave PSG for Los Blancos.
“Mbappe is a world-class player, and I think it’s indisputable that he’s a player with enormous quality,” Alaba said. “I think it’s something which does not affect me on a personal level, you’d have to ask other people that question.”
Mbappe is currently slated to hit free agency next year.
