Marco Verratti played a significant role for Italy as the Italian national team went on to win the UEFA Euro this summer. After missing the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Azzurri redeemed themselves with this trophy.
The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder played and started in five matches for Italy. The 28-year-old had two assists while creating 2.8 chances per game during these Euros.
