After missing Paris Saint-Germain’s first two friendly matches due to testing positive, Achraf Hakimi finally saw minutes against US Orléans. The 22-year-old would score the lone goal of the game in the capital club’s victory.
Hakimi spoke to PSG TV after the match to discuss the win. The right-back touched on his first appearances with the club, and he’s ready to get going by winning the first trophy of the season next weekend in the Trophée des Champions against Lille OSC.
“We’re ready; we find some rhythm. We recover well, and we prepare for whatever will happen. We are ready for Tuesday’s game, and we hope to get the first title next week,” Hakimi said.
“How do I feel within PSG? Well. I am happy; I am happy with how I was received and welcomed. I am very happy to be here, to know the players. I am very happy to be here.”
