Paris Saint-Germain is playing FIFA this summer with the way it’s kicked off their summer transfer window. One name that could be next on their target list is Lionel Messi, who, at the moment, is a free agent.
The 34-year-old’s contract with FC Barcelona expired last month, and he has yet to sign an extension. Occupied with the Copa America, Messi now needs to focus on his future. Following Argentina’s victory in the final, the TyC Sports cameras caught Messi chatting with two PSG players, Neymar Jr. and Leandro Paredes.
Now, this might not mean anything, or it could be two players doing some last-minute recruiting. Nonetheless, PSG has long had an interest in Messi, and it will be interesting to see with Barcelona’s financial struggles if the capital club swoops in.
