Paris Saint-Germain is closing in on signing yet another player to a free transfer deal.
According to a report from RMC Sport, Ramos has agreed to join PSG on a two-year free transfer deal.
Ramos officially became a free agent on Thursday after Real Madrid elected to not accept his two-year free transfer offer.
The veteran Spanish defender has been set on wanting to only sign a fully guaranteed two-year deal.
However, one recent report noted that PSG only aimed to sign Ramos to a one-year deal coupled with an option for another season.
But now, it seems that PSG has budged into Ramos’ free transfer demand, as the longtime Real Madrid defender has agreed to sign off on a two-year deal with the French powerhouse.
Ramos had interest from other clubs for such a deal, as RMC Sport further adds that two Premier League clubs also reached out to the defender to open up free transfer talks.
The report notes that although one Premier League club offered a higher yearly salary deal to Ramos, the veteran center-back has opted to instead accept PSG’s deal.
Ramos’ brother, who is also his agent, is set to meet with PSG club officials on Thursday to finalize this agreement.
Ramos will join Georginio Wijnaldum as PSG’s early signings of the ongoing summer transfer window.
