New Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos has been a regular in the team’s training sessions ever since he officially joined the side earlier this month. Now, he is slated to make his first appearance for the team in a preseason fixture.
As noted by PSG’s official website, Ramos is on track to feature in PSG’s upcoming preseason friendly fixture against Bundesliga side FC Augsburg.
It is currently not known whether PSG’s coaching staff aims to start Ramos in this upcoming fixture, or if the plan is for the veteran defender to make an appearance in the match as a substitute.
PSG is well aiming to provide Ramos with preseason minutes ahead of the upcoming new Ligue 1 campaign.
More so, the former Real Madrid defender could go on to play in PSG’s upcoming 2021 Trophee des Champions Final against Lille OSC, which would be his first chance to win a trophy with the team.
