Although Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos has appeared in several of the team’s scheduled training sessions as of late, he has not yet featured in a preseason fixture with the side. Most notably, Ramos did not take part in PSG’s recent club friendly fixture against US Orleans, where the side came away with a key 1-0 win.
For the moment, Ramos is dealing with a minor calf injury, as noted by Le Parisien. The Spanish defender has been feeling some slight discomfort in his calf as of late and wound up being treated by PSG’s medical staff on Monday for it.
The former Real Madrid defender will not play in PSG’s upcoming friendly match against Sevilla and is currently a doubt for the team’s massive 2021 Trophee des Champions Final against Lille OSC.
For the moment, Ramos will continue to rehab the minor injury as he aims to soon feature in a fixture with the French powerhouse.
