Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Rafinha was among the team’s early arrivals to the Camp des Loges for its early preseason schedule. However, he is so far yet to feature in a single preseason fixture for PSG.
The Brazilian midfielder did not take part in the team’s recent friendly encounters against Le Mans and FC Chambly.
As noted by RMC Sport, Rafinha is currently sidelined due to a slight “muscle overload” injury.
It is not yet known whether the Brazilian talent will be available for PSG’s upcoming friendly fixture against FC Augsburg.
Rafinha heads into the upcoming season with much to prove. He totaled for 34 appearances in all competitions last season, but he could once again drop in the team’s midfield depth chart if club officials go on to sign another midfielder.
For now, Rafinha is well focused on recovering from his injury and getting back on the pitch for in-game action.
