The French forward did not come away with a goal scored in any of PSG’s preseason matches, but he reportedly did enough to impress the team’s coaching staff.
As noted by L’Equipe (via Le10Sport), Kalimuendo is expected to feature in PSG’s attacking rotations in the upcoming season.
Kalimuendo is not slated to leave PSG over the ongoing summer transfer window, whether on a permanent transfer deal or a one-season loan agreement.
Kalimuendo has the backing of PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino, as one recent report noted that the Argentine coach much prefers to see the forward stay with the team for this season.
The French prospect is projected to back up Mauro Icardi this season.
