Brazilian midfielder Rafinha made an early appearance in Paris Saint-Germain’s preseason schedule; he featured in some of the team’s opening training sessions. However, the Brazilian midfielder has not yet appeared in a single preseason fixture due to injury.
As noted by PSG’s official website, Rafinha is still currently recovering from a slight sprained knee injury. PSG further added that the midfielder has been undergoing treatment for the injury.
For the moment, Rafinha is surely a doubt for PSG’s upcoming 2021 Trophee des Champions Final against Lille OSC.
If Rafinha will not be able to go for this final due to his injury, manager Mauricio Pochettino may have to go with a makeshift setup for the team’s midfield considering that the likes of Marco Verratti and Leandro Paredes will miss this fixture.
Rafinha was a regular for PSG in all competitions last season, and he surely will be looking to do the same over the upcoming new campaign.
