Paris Saint-Germain has seen various players incorporate into the squad to help for the 2021-22 season. However, with additions needs to come subtractions which have begun with the departure of left-back Mitchel Bakker to Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
Now another left-back could be on the way out with Layvin Kurzawa. French media outlet RMC Sport reports that the capital club and Galatasaray are in negotiations for the 28-year-old defender.
The report states that the two clubs are now close to an agreement, but there are two hurdles left for this deal to become official. The first is that both sides need to agree on the type of transfer, whether it’s a loan or a permanent deal. Then there’s the convincing of Kurzawa to sign in Turkey.
Furthermore, the Turkish club wants to conclude this file rather quickly because the second round of the Champions League is scheduled for July 20. Should PSG either sell or loan Kurzawa, PSG would head into the market to bring in a left-back.
Recently, an Italian media outlet reported that the French giants are revisiting their interest in AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez.
