PSG Mercato: Report Claims Kylian Mbappé Will Not Extend Contract With Paris SG

The Kylian Mbappé extension saga could be coming to an end with a finale that won’t have Paris Saint-Germain supporters singing in the streets.

According to the French media outlet L’Equipe (via Marca), the 22-year-old has decided not to renew his contract with PSG. The report also states that Mbappé will respect that last year, and he won’t be leaving Paris this summer.

Despite the idea of Mbappé, the capital club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi plans to continue in his efforts to convince Mbappé to extend his contract. The club chief reportedly is taking over the talks from sporting director Leonardo as perhaps one last hail mary should this report be accurate.

PSG remains clear that it will not listen to offers and believes that it will change the France international decision.

L’Equipe also states that Real Madrid asked about Mbappé a few weeks ago, and the French giants were clear with their answer, Mbappé is not for sale.

Whether the report is accurate or not, it would be financially irresponsible for PSG to allow Mbappé. For now, the 22-year-old is heading on vacation following the elimination of France from the UEFA Euros.
