PSG Mercato: Real Madrid Won’t Go to War for Kylian Mbappé

The ongoing saga regarding the contract extension of Kylian Mbappé continues to dominate headlines. Paris Saint-Germain hopes to extend the 22-year-old, but Real Madrid continues to lurk as they want to land the France international.

Despite their interest in the France international, the Spanish club will not go to war with PSG for Mbappé, per AS. The report states that meetings between those who would participate in the negotiations have concluded not to force the situation and let the transfer fall on its own.

With the capital club needing to sell €150-million, Real Madrid hopes that PSG will open up about a possible transfer. AS adds that Mbappé wants to go to Real Madrid, and this is what will end up happening, whether it’s this summer or next when his contract expires.

Mbappé isn’t the only player that Real Madrid is looking to acquire while not ruffling the current club’s feathers. Los Blancos is interested in FC Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski but doesn’t want to upset the German side if they pursue the Polish striker who has two years left on his contract.
