Real Madrid has had many wondering on which route it plans to take over the ongoing summer transfer window.
Los Blancos officials can very well open up its checkbook and complete multiple blockbuster permanent transfer deals, or they can remain conservative and simply opt to address depth issues within the team.
Real Madrid may lean towards the former, and this would begin with its expected transfer pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
As noted by the Spanish-based outlet AS (via Le10Sport), Real Madrid believes that PSG has been hit hard from the recent coronavirus shutdown. Thus, the La Liga side sees that the Ligue 1 giants may be open to offloading the forward in order to haul in key funds.
This negotiation tactic may have its downturns, but Real Madrid is well ready for a “long battle” in this transfer pursuit, the report added.
Mbappe is expected to make a final decision on his footballing future at the club level over the coming months.
For now, Real Madrid waits patiently for Mbappe’s decision on this matter.
