Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Rafinha may be the next player to leave the club over the ongoing summer transfer window. As one recent report signaled out, PSG is well open to offloading the veteran midfielder over the coming month.
Now, a new team has emerged as a possible transfer destination for Rafinha.
As noted by the Turkish-based outlet Yeni Asir, Super Lig powerhouse Fenerbahce is interested in soon acquiring Rafinha.
The report added that Fenerbahce has already reached out to PSG club officials to discuss the possibility of hauling in the versatile midfielder.
However, Fenerbahce is currently not open to signing Rafinha on an outright permanent transfer deal, as it instead would prefer to acquire him via a one-season loan deal. The Turkish side is currently not intrigued with shelling out €15 million for Rafinha, which is the current transfer demand that PSG club officials have placed on the midfielder.
For now, it remains to be seen whether PSG will continue discussions with Fenerbahce on this transfer matter or if it will end such talks in order to find a club willing to pay the set transfer demand for the Brazilian midfielder.
