Paris Saint-Germain wants to upgrade their midfield this summer, and one of the prime targets is Eduardo Camavinga. However, the 18-year-old has also caught the attention of Manchester United.
The English club is in advance discussions with the midfielder, per Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano. Furthermore, Rennes is open to negotiating for €30-million.
Despite the interest that the capital club has in Camavinga, Le Parisien reports that the French giants will play the patience card on this issue and have not yet made any offer to Rennes.
The French media outlet adds that it’s unlikely Rennes accepts Manchester United’s proposal; nonetheless, the soap opera is far from over. Although PSG is interested in the 18-year-old midfielder, Camavinga is Plan B, which is why they are patient with this file.
PSG wants Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, which is their Plan A, to reinforce the midfield this summer. If the pursuit for the 28-year-old doesn’t occur then, the capital club likely will revamp in attempting to land Camavinga.
