Midfield is the next position that Paris Saint-Germain wants to improve this summer. The capital club is linked to Eduardo Camavinga and Paul Pogba, but now there could be a new interest in Olympique Lyonnais’ Houssem Aouar.
ESPN reports that Arsenal has the midfielder at the top of its transfer wish list. However, the English club faces competition with PSG and an unnamed Spanish club.
The report adds that Lyon is open to accept a fee in the region of €25-million. Nonetheless, if the other information is accurate, the French giants want to pursue Paul Pogba; that’s their primary objective.
Pogba has the experience and is in the middle of his prime, which appeals to Les Parisiens, who want to win the UEFA Champions League.
Still, should that pursuit fall short, PSG will need to find other targets to help improve its midfield, and this is where names such as Eduardo Camavinga and Aouar come in.
