Paris Saint-Germain has kicked off its summer transfer window making significant changes. The capital club has already added Georginio Wijnaldum and Gianluigi Donnarumma. They’re also on the verge of landing Inter Milan right-back Achraf Hakimi and are reportedly in talks with Sergio Ramos.
Nonetheless, PSG wants that marquee name. The one player who will pay for itself with jersey sales and endorsements, as they did in 2017 when acquiring Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé. According to Foot Mercato, the French giants are in talks with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
With one more year left on his contract, Manchester United needs to decide whether to keep Pogba or sell if no contract extension is reached. The report states that the two parties discussed the conditions of a possible transfer this summer, between salaries and bonuses requested, and the various commissions.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and sporting director Leonardo have already discussed with Pogba to present their sporting project to him. The 28-year-old is interested in the idea of evolving in Paris.
