PSG Mercato: Paris Open to Selling a Juventus Transfer Target

Paris Saint-Germain has been among the early top spenders over the ongoing summer transfer window, but departures within the team may soon be on the horizon.

For one, PSG defender Mitchel Bakker has been linked with a move to Juventus, especially as the Serie A powerhouse is well aiming to address its depth concerns at the left-back position.

PSG is currently open to offloading Bakker in the coming months via a permanent transfer deal, according to a report from L’Equipe (via Le10Sport).

PSG is aspiring to sell Bakker as it aims to acquire much-needed funds for its transfer activity this summer.

Bakker has had an up-and-down run with PSG so far. While the Dutch talent did start for the French powerhouse in its two domestic cup finals last year under now-former manager Thomas Tuchel, he has become a perennial bench option under Mauricio Pochettino.

Bakker did recently touch on his PSG future, where the defender noted his uncertainty of whether he would want to remain with the team.

For now, PSG is on standby waiting to receive an offer for Bakker, who currently has a pair of years remaining on his contract deal with the club.
