The summer transfer remains open, and there’s one player that would be the cherry on top for Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The capital club has been linked to Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, whose contract expires next summer.
RMC Sport journalist Loïc Tanzi (via Canal Supporters) reports that the 28-year-old is indeed a real track for PSG if they manage to sell off some player. Pogba would be excited to join the French giants but will not go to clash with Manchester United.
Furthermore, ESPN’s Julien Laurens (via Canal Supporters) discussed the matter and gave his thoughts on whether he believes that the transfer will occur this summer. The French football journalist states that he would like to see the transfer happen, but first, they’ll need to offload players to make the deal happen.
“It could happen,” Laurens said. “Leonardo and Mino Raiola are still good friends. They talk. But PSG should sell first players like Ander Herrera. You never know; it can happen. I would love to see Pogba, born and raised in Paris, back in his hometown.”
Pogba will reportedly decide on his future once he returns from his vacation following his participation at the UEFA Euros.
