Mitchel Bakker is on his way out of Paris Saint-Germain. As a result, the left-back position at the capital club leaves Juan Bernat, Layvin Kurzawa, and Abdou Diallo.
Bernat is coming off a severe knee injury; meanwhile, Diallo could be a player that’s sacrificed as the French giants look to sell players to either offset any purchases or balance their wage scale. Then there’s Kurzawa, who doesn’t exude confidence.
With Bakker now departing, PSG could reinforce the left-back position and perhaps revisit a previous target. Sportitalia (via Le10Sport) reports that Les Parisiens are once again expressing interest in Théo Hernandez.
There are no further details about the level of interest PSG is showing in the AC Milan defender. The Italian club will be returning to the UEFA Champions following a hiatus from the competition, so it will take a good offer to have the France international depart.
Nonetheless, with the summer that PSG is off to, it wouldn’t be surprising if they can convince Hernandez to head to the French capital.
