For several weeks, the name of Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa has been linked with Turkish giant Galatasaray SK. The Lions have made it a priority to strengthen their left-back position.
The Istanbul-based club has even reached an agreement with the Parisian leaders, but the player was not keen on joining Turkey. Furthermore, RMC Sport journalist Loïc Tanzi explained Galatasaray’s track of the France international is now closed.
Tanzi explains that despite the file progressing in recent days, the timing was not fast enough for Galatasaray, who wanted to have the player as quickly as possible.
Galatasaray has also reportedly reached a deal with former Crystal Palace left-back Patrick van Aanholt. As a result, Kurzawa will remain with PSG until another offer the player finds suitable. The 28-year-old doesn’t mind departing the capital club. Kurzawa is holding out for a proposal that will allow him to play in the Premier League.
